The Positive Birth Program

The Hypnobubs/Hypnobirthing Australia™ Positive birth program is a two day course for you and your birth partner to learn evidence based tools and techniques and education to assist in creating a calm and positive birth.

In this program, you and your birth partner will learn how to create and maintain a positive mindset, learn how to release endorphins and use acupressure techniques to assist with pregnancy, labour and breastfeeding, visualization and breathing techniques to promote deep relaxation, choices available to you in maternity care, preparing the body, what to expect in labour, the anatomy and physiology relating to birth, ways to bond with baby and so much more.

When should you attend?

The ideal time to attend the course is from 20 – 30 weeks of pregnancy. Please don’t worry if you are further along, feel free to contact me to discuss your options.

What Classes do we offer?

At Mama Whānau, we offer Group Classes or Private Classes.

Group classes are excellent if you’d like to make friends with other mama’s and support each other on the birth journey, we usually have a mama group catch up after the birth to meet your babies. Private classes are fabulous if you want flexibility in days, you’d prefer to be in the comfort of your home or expected arrival date is near, you are also welcome to the mama group catch up after bub has arrived.

    This two-day group course runs over two consecutive Saturdays for you and your birth partner to gain a better understanding of birth and learn proven techniques to help you achieve a positive and calm birth. This course will be taught by Mama Whānau founder Jayde Guise.

    Please note this is a two-day course held on consecutive Saturdays from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm each day with a 30 minute break. When booking please select the first Saturday date.

    The total price is $450.00 per couple.
    A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking – final payment is due 14 days prior to the course start date. *Payment plans are also available.

    The two day private course will run over two consecutive Saturdays for you and your birth partner to gain a better understanding of birth and learn proven techniques to help you achieve a positive and calm birth. This course will be taught by Mama Whānau founder Jayde Guise.
